こまっちゃクレズマ プロフィール(2025)
梅津和時をリーダーとする日本初のクレズマー・オーケストラ「ベツニ・ナンモ・クレズマー」を原点に、その小編成バンドとして1996年活動スタート。以後ほぼ途切れること無く現在に至る。東欧やクレズマーなど民族音楽モチーフだけでなく、懐かしさや親しみやすさ、映画音楽の風合いを持つオリジナル楽曲、あたたかみのあるサウンドが相まって独自の「こまっちゃワールド」をつくりあげている。
国内外のフェス・イベント出演ほか、武元賀子、伊藤キムらコンテンポラリーダンスとのコラボ、ファッションデザイナーNOZOMI ISHIGUROのファッションショー出演、映画「河童」やNHKドラマ「嫌な女」劇伴、切り絵やアニメーション音楽など、様々な表現ジャンルにも関わる。
また強烈なゲスト歌手を迎えるコラボシリーズも活発に行っており、これまでに、おおたか静流、小川美潮、白崎映美、東京ナミィ、石川浩司、知久焼久、大工哲弘、原マスミ、早川義夫、巻上公一、ガレージ・シャンソンショーetc。とりわけおおたか静流とは「こまったか（こまっちゃクレズマ＋おおたか静流）」として数多くの国内ツアーやCDも制作したが、なかでも新潟県十日町「絵本と木の実の美術館」での画家・田島征三との一連の共同制作、東日本大震災以降10年に及ぶ福島「でんでらキャラバン」にも共鳴し活動したことは、現在のバンドの音楽の底力ともなっている。

Starting with Japan's first klezmer orchestra "Betsuni Nammo Klezmer" led by Kazutoki Umezu, the band started its activities in 1996 as a small band. Since then, it has continued almost uninterrupted to the present. In addition to ethnic music motifs such as Eastern Europe and klezmer, the band's original songs with a nostalgic, familiar, and film soundtrack feel, as well as a warm sound, have created a unique "Komatcha World.”
In addition to performing at festivals and events both in Japan and overseas, they have collaborated with contemporary dancers such as Kazuko Takemoto and Kim Ito, appeared in a fashion show for fashion designer NOZOMI ISHIGURO, composed music for the film "Kappa" and the NHK drama "Iyana Onna," and has been involved in a wide range of genres of expression, including paper cutting and animation music. They also actively collaborates with impressive guests, including vocalists such as Sizzle Ohtaka, Mishio Ogawa, Emi Shirasaki, Tokyo Namy, Koji Ishikawa,Toshiaki Chiku, Tetsuhiro Daiku, Masumi Hara, Yoshio Hayakawa, Koichi Makigami, Garage Chanson Show, etc.
In particular, they have collaborated with Sizzle Ohtaka under the name "Komattaka (Komatcha Klezmer + Ohtaka Sizzle)” on numerous domestic tours and CDs, but their collaborations with artist Tajima Seizo at the “EHON TO KINOMI NO BIJUTSUKAN(Picture Book and Nuts Museum)" in Tokamachi, Niigata Prefecture, and the experience of "Dendera Caravan" Fukushima project, which has continued for 10 years since the nuclear accident caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake, are the latent strength of the band's music.
